A couple of quick ink things that I scanned and Photoshopped. Quickly. 10 min max.

I spent a little time tweaking this thing in Photoshop.

So this was totally sweet before I got the bright idea to try shading it by hand. I’m just not there yet. I did a whole bunch of different creepy male faces in this pad I made out of a bunch of scrap sheets of brown paper that we had lying around the office. I’ll take some pics of the pad when I get a chance, its pretty sweet. I’ll probably upload the rest of the faces at some point as well.

So here are the other two versions of the Lud sketch.

I think I might turn this into something a but more finished later on.

So I’ve started a sketch book for the first time in over 10 years… which makes me sound older than I am probably.

I recently read (listened to on audiobook) The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and have been sketching out some DT characters and locations. We’ll see where it goes…

Anyway I know I can’t draw all that well, but I’m enjoying doing it for the first time in a long time. In the last year I’ve had the pleasure of bumping into Barron Storey a couple of times, and some of the things he’s said made a big impression on me, and kind of got me thinking that maybe I should start drawing again. Sooo, here we go. Whee!
