So I’ve started a sketch book for the first time in over 10 years… which makes me sound older than I am probably.
I recently read (listened to on audiobook) The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and have been sketching out some DT characters and locations. We’ll see where it goes…

Anyway I know I can’t draw all that well, but I’m enjoying doing it for the first time in a long time. In the last year I’ve had the pleasure of bumping into Barron Storey a couple of times, and some of the things he’s said made a big impression on me, and kind of got me thinking that maybe I should start drawing again. Sooo, here we go. Whee!
So these dudes were a band in Boulder, CO. Being from the area, I got to see them a few times before they finally split.
This track is the last song off of the last EP they did as Shogun, which was called “What Sin Has Twisted”. The rest of the EP is just as awesome, and can still be purchased online (Hell, it looks like even BN.com has it).
I miss these dudes as Shogun. A couple of the members went on to form a band called Dartanian, and they are pretty darn good, but the world has moved on in a way.
So I’m living in California now, in the SF Bay Area. New job and all that.
The old blog is dead and gone, the data on the dead drive couldn’t be saved. I’m going to try and get some of the old stuff back where it was, but this is pretty much a new site now.
Kinda lonely out here at the moment. The GF is coming out in a couple of weeks and then things can start getting back to normal.
For now, this video has been keeping me hitting replay.
